One of the places we visited on our Jasper trip was Medicine Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta Canada. I took this just as the last sun rays left the valley.
Medicine Lake is fascinating because it disappears in the fall/winter. Actually, it’s not really a lake at all but an area where the Maligne River (flowing from Maligne Lake) backs up before it suddenly disappears into a network of underground tunnels and caverns.
